Harry & Helen Webb Connection
A Senior Citizen Adult Care Center
How We’re Helping
Have you ever thought about the effects loneliness and social isolation have on senior citizens? As indicated in numerous publications, and notably by the US Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the National Institute of Aging (NIA), isolation among seniors contributes greatly to an increased risk of premature mortality, dementia, depression, heart disease, cognitive decline, and mental health issues. Harry & Helen Webb Connection is devoted to changing the lives of seniors in our community. We provide senior citizens with a healthy social life that keeps them mentally, physically, and emotionally fit.

Who is Harry Webb?
Harry was born on January 9, 1929, in Newark, NJ. He married Helen Bay on March 23, 1949. Their union brought forth two daughters Anita and Roberta Webb. They raised their family in Hayes Home projects in Newark, NJ. Harry worked for Wallace and Tiernan Company in Belleville, NJ. He was a reliable, wise, and honest man with an impeccable work ethic. He worked every day through beautiful summer days, dreary inclement days and never complained. Helen was fortunate to be a homemaker, she raised her daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Harry retired in 1991 and enjoyed his final days with his family. He was known for his quotes of wisdom, “Every day you will learn something new” and “Whatever job you have be the best at it”. This organization was established in his honor.
